Can I send a notification to my subscribers when their credit card is about to expire?

Yes! Generally speaking, sending an email to a subscriber prior to their credit card being declined due to an expiration date yields a higher churn rate, so we don't recommend you enable this email.

If your use case calls for it, however, you can activate this email by opening Conjured Subscriptions, clicking "View Details" next to your Subscription Box, and navigate to the "Email Settings" tab. Scroll down to the section titled "Send Credit Card Expiring Notification Email". Change "Send customers an email when their credit card is about to expire?" to "Send an email", and select how long before the card is set to expire you'd like the email to be sent. Save your changes at the bottom of the page, and you're good to go!

Remember, all emails sent by Conjured Subscriptions support full HTML markup, so it's easy to make them match the branding of your existing email marketing campaigns. If you don't feel comfortable with HTML, we recommend using your email marketing platform (such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp) to design the emails, and then export the HTML to paste into the body of the app.
