How does the gift recipient receive and redeem their subscription gift?

When a customer purchases a gift, they'll be asked to enter the gift recipient's email address. The Gift recipient will then receive an email containing their gift information, along with a link to redeem their gift.

When the recipient clicks on the redemption link in the email, they'll be taken to your store and prompted to create an account if they don't already have one. Once they've signed in, they'll be asked to enter their shipping information, select any preferences relating to the subscription box, and click the "Redeem" button.

Upon redemption, a new subscription will be created for the gift recipient, owned and managed by that recipient. The subscription will be pre-loaded with credits equaling the number of shipments purchased by the gift giver - for example, if the gift giver purchased a 3-month gift, the recipient's subscription would be pre-loaded with 3 credits. In addition, the recipient's first shipment will process immediately upon redemption.
