Does Conjured Memberships integrate with Klaviyo?

Yes, we do! Conjured Memberships sends event metrics to your subscribers' Klaviyo profiles whenever a new membership is created, canceled, or reactivated or when a payment is made or declined. These events make it easy for you to run drip campaigns using Klaviyo Flows.

In addition, you can also use Klaviyo to send the emails listed on the Email Settings tab of your membership details. For more information on how to do that, refer to the tutorial How do I set up membership emails to send from Klaviyo?

Finally, if you're subscribing your customers to a special mailing list as one of your membership perks, you may want to use Klaviyo for that as well.

Integration

To integrate Klaviyo, you'll need an API public and secret key.

1. Start by logging in to your Klaviyo dashboard, then click the arrows in the Account icon at the bottom left and open Settings.

   

   
   

2. Then open the "API Keys" menu option from the Settings dropdown, and click the "Create API Key" button to generate a new API key. We recommend granting full access.

   

3. Your Public API Key is listed in the top box of that page, and your newly created Private API Key will be listed in the table row down below. Copy both API keys.

   

4. Next, log into Conjured Memberships, click the Settings menu option, scroll down to the Klaviyo Integration section, and enter all the values you retrieved. Select which events you want to log to Klaviyo, and don't forget to hit the Save button at the bottom of the page when you're done.

   

   We also suggest triggering the events after saving the keys. This will send "test" events to Klaviyo, triggering the flows you've set up. It also provides some test data, which confirms that the integration was successful.

   

   
   

5. If you're using Klaviyo as your "special mailing list" perk, you'll also need to find the list ID for the list you want your members to be subscribed to. Navigate to your Lists in Klaviyo, click the List you want to sign your Advocates/Friends up to and click on the Settings link. Copy your List ID.

   

   
   

6. Then, go to your campaign's "special mailing list" perk in Conjured Memberships and enter your list ID and API keys. Don't forget to save your changes!
